glutten baby ??

hi thanks first of all i wanted to thank you for all the advice, i have a new one for you, my girlfriend has a 2 month old and and she is probably around 9lbs may 9.5 and 21 inches long. for awhile she was acting as if she had a problem with milk based formulas, eat throw up, fussy, cring, etc. my girlfriend took her to the doctor and the told her she was a glutten baby, have you ever heard of such a thing?? i didnt know babies would eat and eat i thought she had a problem with the milk based formulas.

her doctor also says no lotions, and no mylicon drops no meds period, should i tellmy firend maybe hse shoudl swith drs.??

What a great friend you are!! Your friend is definatly lucky to have a girlfriend like you!! Yes absolutley tell her to change peds, there is no such thing as a glutten baby!! That is just ludicrous!! I baby will only eat out of hunger, they do not eat out of boredom or because it tastes good, that comes much later!!!

As for the lotions, some Dr's say that it could go into your baby's bloodstream but only for the first two weeks of life....

As for the Mylicon drops, does this Dr just like a baby to be in pain?? Mylicon drops are not meds anyway, they don't even enter the bloodstream!!

I would tell your friend to change Dr's and formula, tell her to try a lactose free one. Or it could be that her baby has Gastroenstinal Reflux Disease or GERD as it is sometimes called. Get her to change Dr's and then ask the new one!!
