trying to understand

hi!! sometimes my five week old boy, as he starts to drift off, will kick his legs wave his arms and look around. He doesnt cry just acts as if he has an uncontroable urge to get up and do something. then he will start to drift off again. Why does he do this? :blink:

Hi,
Your baby has no control over his reflexes, that is why he does this. This is also one of the reasons why we swaddle our baby's, so they don't jerk their little arms and legs and wake themselves up!! Hope this helps!!
