Somewhere on a baby website i read that if you let your baby sleep on his /her tummy after they are use to sleeping on there bcak it increase their chance for sids. WHAT???

And i do somethimes let my son sleep on his tummy during the day ( i know bad mommy) but he looks so much more peaceful, does the above statement hold any truth and is the same true for the oppiste??

Oh yeah my son hates to be swaddled normal?
and when can they stop sleeping in a postioneer
when will they trun there heads when they spit up so they wont choke in their sleep
and will babys suffocate themselves by laying on their noses when they sleep, wont they turn their heads?

sorry about all the questions first time mom , and all this is poppping tinto my head now

Hi,
That statement is not true but under no circumstances should your baby ever sleep on his tummy!!!! Never!!! Sleeping on their tummy's increases the risk of SIDS!!!!!!!!

As for the sleep positioner as soon as they can turn themselves over you should take it away!!

It's not a good idea to let your baby lay on his nose when he is sleeping especially if he can't move is own head yet!!

As for when they can usually move their big ole heads , it's usually aobut 3-4 months!! Hope this has helped!!
