I was just wonder why you are to give tempra before having vaccines and why doctors are not telling mothers to this anymore? i have always giving the babies tempra a half hour before shots and was told to when making the appointment but many of my friends have not been told this. Just wondering why?

Hi,
Tempra is an Acetaminophen, it is used to releive pain and reduce fevers, some doctors don't think it's neccessary to give Tylenol or Motrin before the shots and some do, it's just the doctors personal choice really.
