[B]Please help me my 14 week old still wakes up once sometimes twice a night to eat..any ideas or should i wait. I never had a problem like this with my oldest. Im open to anything..
She goes to bed every night around nine. I figure the later she goes to bed the better she might sleep threw the night.. She goes to bed after a full belly of warm cereal and some formula and a warm bath..
Thanks! jem :D

Hi,
How much does your baby weigh?? I am guessing that she weighs enough to sleep throug the night at 14 weeks!! Are you feeding her every three or four hours through out the day?? How many naps does she take in the day?? Sorry for all the questions but this will help me tell you what to do to get her sleep better!!
Thanks

Hi,
Well there is your major problem, she needs to eat at least every 3-4 hours, preferably every three hours. That is why she is waking up in the middle of the night to eat because she isn't getting enough during the day!! Why is she eating solids at such a young age?? Does she have reflux or some other medical problem?? As far as the naps go it sounds as though she is getting enough sleep!! Sleep begets sleeps!!!! The more sleep she gets the more she will need and want!! She should be having about three naps a day. Two 2 hour naps and one 1 hour nap is usually good at her age!! Although five smaller ones will work as well!!
Get back to me on that question and we can go from there ok!!

About the reflux.. yes she did have it.. it has improved a lot! The doctor also told me when she is around months and at the weight she is i could feed her cereal.. again if i might be doing something differently please give me anything you think might be right. i would be greatfull..thanks again .

LOL, my 1year old was still getting up in the night. I don't think there is a magical age when they are supposed to be sleeping through the night. My son would fall asleep early like at 7pm, but then be up and ready to go again from 9pm on. No matter what I did to try and keep him up he still fell alseep too early. I just got used to spending that time playing with him. If you are tired, try napping when she naps. I would put the cradle next to the bed (cause I am a deep sleeper) and nap with both my boys, then it is not so bad waking up in the middle of the night. 14 weeks seems really young to be expecting that though. Also all mine were breast fed, and I didn't start solids until 4/5 months.
Just my 2 cents!

Let me start by saying I feel for you. My son had reflux and he kept me up every couple hours of every night for the first year. To top it off after feeding him he had to sit in his car seat or in somekind of seat where he was upright for about 30-60 minutes after eating and then sometimes when I laid him back down hed still throw up again. I finally came to the conclusion that he was constantly hungry because he was always getting sick and he wouldnt want to eat again until the next feeding time. I dont know if he was tired of sucking or what. Even if its just a little spit up its actually a lot to them. I also found it alot harder to burp my son than other babies without reflux.
