cradle cap/baby acne

my baby has the worst case of baby acne i have seen. i have tried cleaning his face with water and cetaphil but it is getting worse. do i just wait it out or is there something else to try? how long does baby acne last?

Hi,
I would try using a cool wet washcloth on his face two-three times a day, also keep up with the cetaphil, that is great. Baby acne can last anywhere from 3-6 weeks, but just remember that it can disappear and then come back again.

don't put anything like baby lotion or baby oil or even baby wash on it. my son had a real bad case and it finally went away. Also make sure he or she dosen't get hot it seems to break out that way to. :P

My daughter had bad acne when she was around 3 weeks. When it hadn't gone away by 5 weeks, I went to the drug store. There, I picked up a Gentle Naturals product. It is Baby Eczema Cream.
