Onion Water

I am still having trouble getting my 4 week old to sleep more than 2-2 1/2 hours at a time. I have had friends and family tell me to try onion water. Have you heard of this and is it safe? My mom said she used it on me when I was a baby and so did my husband's mother. Has anyone tried this?

Onion water!! Yuck!! :) No I have never heard of this!!!

Your baby is 4 weeks old and he is sleeping between 2-2.5 hours that's not too bad really, because I would expect a 4 week old to get up about every 3 hour sto eat anyway!! Just keep dong what your doing for another week, then if he hasn't strecthed out his feeds get back to me ok!!
