hungry every hour and a half

My 11 weeks old son is hungry every 1,5 hours, after fininshing his 4 oz bottle. I tried to add a table spoon of cereal to his meal, he ate fine 1 time, and the next time he vomited. Did I do something wrong?

Hi Olga,
How much does your son weigh!! That will tell me how much he should be eating!! Also don't put anymore cereal in his formula because he is too young to have it, his digestive system can't handle it just yet, that's why he threw it up!! Also having cereal at a young age can put cause more harm later with his digetive system!!

He weights 15 pounds and 25 inches tall.

He should be taking about 71/2 ounces at every feed that is why he is hungry every 1-1.5 hours. Try giving him 8oz in a bottle and see what he does ok, sorry it took me so long to get back to you but this post got lost in the system!!!

My baby is almost 4 weeks old, and he is always awake! He will sleep for 30minutes or an hour and wake up hunger. He`s always hunger! What can I do to make him sleep longer and eat less? :huh: :ph34r:

Well here is the question of the day, how much does he weigh and how much are you feeding him or if you breastfeeding for how long on each breast??
