pink urine/discharge newborn girl

Is it normal to have pink urine/discharge from a 2 day old newborn girl? The doctor doesn't seem concerned but I would still like to know more. Is there such a thing as hormone change for a baby?

I know with my boys they had an orange stain in their diaper the first few days.
Girls are new to me.

Yes don't worry although that's easy for me to say!! It's totally normal for little girls to get some pink or even blood in their diaper for the first two weeks, it is caused by the hormones that are changing in their bodies and the hormones that passed from you to her during childbirth.. Totally 100% normal!!
