2 year old in preschool getting sick all the time.

Just wondering, my 2 year old is going to preschool now and gets sick every other day from there.
Is that not bad for the little one?
Everybody says it's normal, but to adults doctors say, if you carry a cold around for a long time, it can have some bad sideeffects.
Anybody here knows what's right?

Hi Gregor, Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, I have been sick myself with this awful flu that is going around, anyway it's very common for kids in child care to pick up every bug.

Once they get through it, it atually looks like their immunity is better when they get older, compared to kids who have gotten fewer infections when they were young.

As long as the infections are self-limited and haven't led to more significant infections, I wouldn't worry about 'lasting effects
