Is it a rash?

My two and a half month old has a rash all over her face, chest, neck, and even a little on her arms. I'm not sure what it is, or what to do. It is a bunch of little red bumps that feel really dry. I have been keeping the areas clean and moisturized since she has had it, but it hasn't gone away. What is it and what do I need to do?

It sounds like neonatal acne, which might not look like regular acne, the best thing to do is get some Cetaphil from your local drugstore and use that on the affected areas. It should clear up in about a week or so. Also try not to keep her too warm, because that can irritate the acne, if it doesn't clear up within a week I would take her to get checked out at the doctor. Acne can come back until your baby is 6-8 months of age. Hope this helps!!!! :D
