i have a one month old and he acts like he would like to suck - (without nursing) i have tried several pacifiers and he is not really crazy about any of them. eventually he will take one buy usually he will gag. any suggestions on what i can give hime to satisfy this need?

Hi,
Have you tried the Soothie Pacifier or the Nu-Pacee Pacifier??? These pacifiers are the best for breastfed babies, because they simulate the Mom's breast. You can get them at www.babiesadvantage.com, otherwise you can try your little finger turned upside down and see if he likes to suck on that!!! Please keep me informed!! :D

I agree also. I have talked to several moms that use the same type as the soothie and love it. You used to only be able to get them in hospitals, I am glad someone is selling them on the market now. My last baby would only suck on a pacifer if it was dipped in milk first. :D
