:( My son is 11 weeks old and still gets up between 3 and 4 am for a bottle. He eats and goes right back to sleep. At what age will that stop? When will he sleep through the night? We let him take long naps during the day because he gets real fussy and unconsolable when he is tired. Is there anything we should be doing? People tell me that after a baby is over 12 pounds, they no longer need that middle of the night feed. He is about 14/15 pounds already. HELP!

Hi,
Well you guys are certainly on the right track, by letting your baby take long naps during the day. Your friend is correct, your baby doesn't need to get up to feed in the night now. Although you must give your baby the correct amount of feedings through out the day, you should feed your baby every three hours, you can also cluster feed him at night, what that means is feed him at say 6pm, 8pm and 10pm. Or you could also try feeding your baby at say 6pm, 9pm and then give your baby a dream feed, by that I mean, at around 11pm go into your baby and pick him/her up and feed her, trying not to wake him/her up to much. I hope this has been helpful!! :D
