I am in the process of weaning my 5 month old off of the breast. He likes the bottle so this isn't a concern but we've been giving him a soy formula because of past milk allergies within the family. He has started crying and seems to have a hard time with his bowel movements since we've introduced the formula, how do I switch to another formula, he has only started having one formula bottle a day the rest is all breastmilk. Can I just change the milk? We are giving him Alsoy could we just change to the regular Nestle Goodstart? Could he be sensitive to the soy?
Thanks

Hi Aidansmommy,
How long have you been giving him the Alsoy?? Yes he could be allergic to soy, what I would recommend is calling your pediatrician and asking him if it's ok with him if you change formulas. If so then go ahead and give him the bottle of Carnation Good Start.
Thanks

My baby loves the CGS, it was much better for her little tummy. Definately check with your doctor before you change though!!
