new mama needs cold advice

My 4mo old is starting to get a cold. She is so stuffy and has a bit of a fever. My ped says they dont recommend giving infants medication. What can I do to make her more comfortable so she can get some rest. Last night she slept awful, waking up every hour because she's so plugged up. I feel so bad for my poor sweetie.

Hi,
You an put a towel under the crib matress where her head goes so her head is elevated, you can also put a cold air humidifier on and I would go to the drugstore and get some little noses saline nose drops and put about three drops in each nostril and then suction her nose out, you can do that every couple of hours or so. I hope this helps!! :)
