Baby won't sleep in crib or bassinet

My husband and I cannot get our 4 week daughter to go to sleep in her crib or bassinet. She has only slept in them 2x to far for 45 minutes max. I know shes tired but as soon as she figures out shes not in our laps she wakes up and gets really noisy and eventually starts bawling. What can I do??

Hi,
The best thing that you can do is swaddle your baby, wrap her really tight and then get some wedges and put her on her side in the wedges and then tuck another blanket over her and I bet she will sleep like a baby!! :D

We are having the same problem, my baby will only sleep on my or my husbands chest. I totally sympathise with you!! Good luck.

Ok, so we swaddled her last night and we put in those wedgie things and she slept for 4 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Yippee!!!!!!!!! I am so grateful, Thank you!!!
