Only sleeping in car seat!!

Our newborn will only sleep for extended periods in his carseat or baby swing. Each time we put him down in the bassinet or crib he wakens either immediately or very shortly after. I'm worried we are fostering bad sleeping habits. Does anyone have any advice on how to get our little guy to sleep in his crib? Should we pick him up right away when he fusses after we've put him down? How soon should we try again after we've picked him up? Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
It sounds as though you little guy likes being on an incline so why don't you get one of those crib wedges or just put a rolled up towel under the head of the mattress!! If that doesn't work I would recommend asking your ped about reflux because your guy may have a little of it!!!

try wrapping him/her in a blanket like they did in the hospital it works. I found that out on this site. they really have some good advice.
